eagle-boardroom-perth Meetings: you either love them or you hate them. There are two basic thoughts about meetings. One is that they are an important aspect of any modern business providing every member of staff with key information and the opportunity to exchange ideas. The second is that they are a waste of time. Of course anyone who thinks that meetings are purely a waste of time has been, simply put, going to the wrong meetings. If they aren’t planned or executed well then a corporate meeting can be tedious and irrelevant. That’s why it is so important to do the best you can and get the most out of your meetings. In the past, part of the trouble with meetings was it meant that you had to leave what you were doing and usually make your way to somewhere else. This kind of lengthy process feels a bit pointless in a business environment where the emphasis is always placed on time management. But you can get around this issue by using the increasing popular method of holding business meetings: by video conference! Video conferencing takes away a lot of the hassle of meetings. Of course a video conference can be done from any location. But to retain the positive business feel it’s hugely beneficial to find an ideal video conferencing site. If this means hiring out a completely separate room then it can still be completely worth it. Hiring somewhere might seem like a needless expense but it can actually help you in a number of ways. First of all you’ll get all the applicable technologies with any support you need. And second you can hold your conference in a prestige environment. This reminds everyone involved that this is still a business matter. This perfect thing about video conferencing is that it takes a lot less planning than traditional business meetings. You barely have to infringe on schedules, and it takes you literally less than ten seconds to switch from your regular work to getting involved in the meeting itself. If you have colleagues or clients in other parts of the world, then remote video conferencing solves the problem of bringing people together at great expense too. This idea really has changed the way that we think about meeting in a business environment. Don’t waste time as meetings had to in the past – start seeing the benefits of remote meetings. Hiring out a bespoke video conferencing room can be the difference between a vibrant discussion about your company, or a dull, corporate lecture.
